October 14th and the Fruit of the Spirit Long-Suffering was taught. The fruit of that spirit was the Banana.

October 15th and we went over Long Suffering and Love (catch up from the first week).

More Bible Study Updates.

This was October 7th and the Fruit of the Spirit was Peace. The fruit of Peace was Grapes.

This was October 8th and the Fruit of the Spirit that was taught was on Peace. The fruit for that week was Grapes.

Bible Study Updates

I'm giving long over due bible study updates. Right now we are studying the Fruits of the Spirit. We've already went through Love, Joy, Peace, Long-suffering, and Gentleness.

This was from September 23 and the Fruit of the Spirit is Love and the actual fruit was a Strawberry.

This was September 30th and this was the day we discussed Joy. The fruit was a watermelon.

Outreach at Swicker Park

Outreach Dinner & Service

Mission 18:16 had an Outreach Dinner and Service on September 19, 2009, at the Westwood Apartment Complex. Pastor Shindoll preached first and then we had a dinner and game activities for the children. Here are a few pictures from the event.

Children and their Armor of God

We finally were able to finish up teaching the kids about the Armor of God this week at both of the Apartment Complex's. The kids had a great time making the armor and also going around the complex singing their song. Here are several pictures of the children dressed up in their armor getting ready to march to the army song.

Bible Studies 9/9 and 9/10

Sister Heather and Sister Nikka both taught on the Swords of the Spirit, the last piece of the Armor of God. For the Westwood Apts we had around 20 kids total for both the younger and older children's bible studies. We also had around 5 to 10 adults for the adult bible study. For the Southview Apt. we only had around 6 or 7 kids for bible study.

This Wednesday and Thursday we'll be giving the children all of their armor that they've made and we'll be marching around the apt. complexes.

Thursday Night 9/3/09

Thursday nights Bible study was at Southview. Sis. Megan taught about the Helmet of Salvation and the children made helmets for our Suit of Armor. Sis. Nikka taught on Shod your Feet with the Preperation of Peace. The children colored part of the covering for the shoes. There was 10 children in attendance

Wednesday Night 9/2/09

The Greenwood Bible Studies went very well. The younger group 7 and under learned about the Helmet of Salvation taught by Sis. Megan. The older group 8 and up is on there second week with a Call to Repent taught by Sis. Rebecca. There were 12 children in attendance

Thursday Bible Study

Sorry it has taken me awhile to post this, but my home computer is having issues.

Anyway Thursday, August 27th at Southview Apartments we had 7 children for Bible Study.

Wednesday Bible Study

For our Wednesday night bible study at Westwood Apartments we had 20 children and 8 adults.

The children's bible study were split up according to their ages and the older children were taught a different bible study than the younger ones. With the younger children they continued to learn about the Armor of God and they learned about the shield of faith.

THURSDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY

Southview Community Building

We had 9 children at this weeks Bible study.

We were blessed with 2 children from Greenwood Apartments in attendence.

We studied the second part of the armor of God - the Breastplate of Righteousness. Next week we will do the "feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace" and "Shield of Faith", to get caught up from last week.

Also, next week we expect to have 6 children from Greenwood. Praise the Lord!

MISSION 18:16 - Hosts Luncheon

SOUTHVIEW APARTMENT COMPLEX

All are welcome to attend. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be served up free of charge.

Wednesday Night Bible Study - 7pm for adults and children at Westwood Apartments

At tonight's Bible study we had 13 children and 5 adults in attendance.

We were blessed to have a church member, Sister Barb, come and testify to the adult Bible study.

For the children's Bible study we worked on the third part of the armor of God..."feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace" Ephesians 6:15.

Next week, the we will discuss the fourth part of the armor - the shield of faith.
